Treed warranty policy
We give you a 24-month warranty on our watches so that you are covered for any eventuality. In addition, you will receive a small wooden warranty card with your watch. If your model has a defect during this time, you can send it to us and we will take a closer look at the problem and find a solution. If the defect is caused by everyday use, the repair is covered under warranty for 24 months. Warranty claims are excluded for self-inflicted defects caused by improper use.
Treed Warranty Guidelines
- The Treed warranty is confined to the first purchaser of the Treed products only and is non- transferable.
- The warranty services is limited to repair or replacement of the product & is at the sole discretion of Treed.
- Proof of purchase is required to be presented for availing warranty services.
- You can sent a warranty service request at email@example.com Our customer service team will contact you and attempt to troubleshoot the issue.
- If the issue is not resolved over call or email, Treed will request you to self-ship the product to our warehouse and share the tracking details with the Treed customer service team. Treed will not be responsible for any loss or damage during transit.
- Treed warranty coverage shall be limited only to provide repairs & rectification of the fault reported. In case a replacement is provided, it will be done with an equivalent condition or value device only (possibly a successor model, in the event the original product is no longer available), with or without packaging & accessories.
- Treed shall not cover any consequential or resulting liability, damage or loss to property or life, injuries, loss of any kind of personal data arising directly or indirectly out of any defects in Treed products.
- Treed shall not cover any liability or claim pertaining to any kind of rashes or skin allergy due to usage of Treed products nor will be able to provide any repairs or replacement for such issues.
- While Treed will make every effort to carry out repair at the earliest, we would like to make it expressly clear that the we are under no obligation to do so in a specified period of time.
- If any internal or external components are to be replaced, there will be an effort to ensure that the shades match with the original or other components. The replaced shades, patterns, tints may vary from the customer's unit due to continuous usage of the unit. Any matching components changed at customer's request will be on a chargeable basis except the component replaced under warranty.
Treed Warranty is not applicable in any of the following cases:
- Failure to observe any safety precautions
- Failure to comply with the operating instructions
- Environmental influences (moisture, extreme cold or heat, excessive pressure or force, dust, etc.), in particular damage caused by moisture, water and alcohol (perfume)
- Use of force (e.g. hitting, striking, dropping)
- Unauthorized repair attempts.
- Misuse or improper handling of the goods resulting in breakage and/or glass damage. Attention: All of our wooden watches are made from the materials wood and stone and these natural materials do not have the same resilience as metal, which is why we would like to emphasize that our wood bands and cases may break with excessive force, and we ask that appropriate care is taken when wearing these products made of natural materials.
- In case of any damage to the product, customer abuse, repair by unauthorized persons, misuse detected, product attacked or damaged by house pests, pets, rodents, accidental or incidental damage, spillage of any kind of liquid on the device, device subjected to extreme temperatures, atmospheric conditions, water logging in the product, non-specified charger usage, any kind of breaking or cutting of wires, improper or reckless use, defects developed by due to causes beyond control like lightning, abnormal voltage or acts of God.
- This warranty will automatically terminate on the expiry of the warranty period (as determined by proof of purchase), even if the product is not in use during the warranty period for any reason.
- Deterioration or peeling of the color of the product due to normal wear & tear or usage.
- Issues pertaining to look & feel of the product, dim display under sunlight, low sound quality due to accumulation of dust or dirt.
- Also excluded from the guarantee are changes in the color and wood of the products (patina, color, structural changes) as well as leather straps.
To claim the guarantee, we require that you allow us to examine the goods by sending them to us. Please make sure that damage to the goods during transport is avoided by using appropriate packaging.
To apply for the guarantee, you must enclose a copy of the original invoice for the goods. Please understand that we can still reject your claim if the documents are incomplete, and that the copy of the invoice is necessary to calculate the guarantee period. If the guarantee claim is legitimate, we will provide the guarantee service within 30 days from the date of dispatch of the goods to us.
